EMCOR Services Team Mechanical installed a medical-grade air cooled chiller for the client’s Linear Accelerator Machine (LINAC).
The chiller’s uninterrupted cooling capacity provides the essential temperature needed for the LINAC to run at optimum performance. And, thanks to our extensive experience working in healthcare environments, we were able to complete this project on a demanding schedule.
Client Objectives
The client sought a mechanical contractor with the technical expertise needed to work with this complex mission critical equipment, as well as a one that could adhere to a strict project schedule.
Solutions
The scope of work for this design build project included:
- Structural review of the roof
- Installation of rails to support the chiller
- Installation of chilled water piping from the new chiller to linear accelerator
- Testing for proper operation
