Value Delivered

EMCOR Services Team Mechanical installed a new rooftop unit, providing exceptional value to the client in a number of ways, including:

  • Improved efficiency and reliability
  • Reduced energy consumption
  • Delivered effective temperature-control and better indoor air quality for enhanced occupant comfort

Client Objectives

The client sought a comprehensive solution that would address its building’s more than 25-year- old rooftop unit, which required extensive and costly repairs.

Solutions

To meet the client’s objective, Team Mechanical inspected the condition and operation of the existing ground-level rooftop unit and determined that it had exceeded its useful lifespan. The scope of work included replacing the existing unit, along with work on external supply and return ducts.

Our team also connected the existing electrical power wiring, control wiring, and gas piping making modifications as necessary to accommodate the new rooftop unit. A 110-volt weatherproof electrical convenience outlet was installed to adhere to code requirements, and a new digital programmable thermostat was connected, reusing existing control wiring.
