(NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, is proud to announce that its Team Mechanical, Inc. subsidiary donned EMCOR Pink Hard Hats and gathered yesterday at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge on Monday October 5, in a “Call to Action” in support of Breast Cancer screening and awareness as part of EMCOR’s “Protect Yourself” campaign. Team Mechanical employees will wear their Pink EMCOR Hard Hats as they work throughout the month of October in order to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Among the attendees at the gathering on Monday were Team Mechanical sales engineer Mike McBride, whose wife Jen is fighting breast cancer. “I’m going through my second diagnosis of in two years, and I’m starting chemotherapy again, so this effort means a lot to us,” said Jen. “Cancer touches everyone in some way, and this effort can mean so much to so many people. When people see these Pink Hard Hats on the workers during the day, and when they go home at night and their spouses see their Pink Hard Hats, it will hopefully cause people to think about “Protecting Themselves” by getting screened.”
